OurFireplace Inserts are made in cast iron and steel and use classic designs which will last a lifetime. Fireplace Inserts - sometimes referred to as fireplace insets or cast iron insets - replace the more common fire back made of fire clay or fire bricks. Each insert can be fitted to burn either solid fuel (coal, coke, wood) or use a modern clean gas fire to remove the need to clean out ashes and rebuild the fire.

Varying the size of the back plate allows a cast iron fire insert to fit different sizes of fireplace.

Tiled Fireplace Inserts with decorative ceramic tile panels

Emsworth Fireplace offer a number of tiled fireplace inserts or fire surround insets based on traditional fireplace tile patterns. Each ceramic fire panel consists of five tiles so that the cast iron insert is decorated with a total of ten heat tolerant ceramic tiles fitting snugly into the fireplace insert surround. This type of cast iron inset is easy to keep clean and creates and has a pleasing contrast between the dark fire insert itself and the predominantly white fire surround tiles.
